Conveniently located near major Orange County cities but a world away in ambiance, Giracci Vineyards and Farms is a 10-acre oasis of vineyards, 250-year-old trees, stunning gardens, and great wine. The family-owned property caters to groups with educational wine-tasting parties, cooking classes, themed events, and catered dinners.
An Ode to Wine
Monks have a long history of making wine, which is still on display at the New Clairvaux Vineyard. Today, the winery is home to Trappist-Cistercian monks, who, along with fifth-generation Californian winemaker Aimée Sunseri, make award-winning wines like the 99-point 2020 Petite Sirah. An event soaking up the history and sipping the wines in the tasting room is hard to beat.

In a city known for beer, San Diego’s Bivouac Ciderworks is changing it up, putting the focus on trendy hard cider. The woman-owned urban cidery takes groups of up to 100 on a tasting adventure and education about hard cider in its stunning taproom in North Park.

For an unconventional party sure to please everyone’s palate, it’s impossible to beat the Rancho Cordova Barrel District. The district boasts five craft breweries, a wine-tasting room, two distilleries, a meadery, and a hard kombucha taproom. The HUB is San Luis Obispo’s newest event space featuring Krobar Craft Distillery and Central Coast Brewing under one roof. For a wine-centric event in the city, Tolosa Winery features multiple indoor and outdoor spaces to enjoy their award-winning wines. Head north of the city to the wine region of Paso Robles for a special evening at one of the many wineries. Rava Wines is known for its sparkling wine and features the largest event space in the region.
